Naturally, the water supply of the entire plumbing system goes through pipes. These are usually found under the floor and sometimes, even in the walls. One of the most important elements of this system is the vent pipe which is the part that regulates the water pressure from and to the plumbing system. The vent pipe can be adjusted using a valve which is usually located right under the kitchen sink. Therefore, this should be one of the first things to look at if one were having problems with water pressure.

The entire plumbing system consists of a variety of different types of pipes. Simple kitchens will usually have drain pipes and supply pipes. As their name implies, these two types of pipes are the ones that regulate the drainage and the supply of water throughout the kitchen.

With this basic knowledge in mind, folks should have an easier time identifying and perhaps even fixing certain kitchen plumbing problems. If this were the case, then one would not have to spend hundreds of pounds on overpriced service fees and parts replacements. Doing a little research can surely go a long way – especially amidst today’s financial global recession which has shown no signs of letting up.
